Options for Budapest and Prague

If you wish to take advantage of our hotel and flight package but prefer not to fly, we offer the option of travelling by train between London and Budapest or Prague. Unfortunately, it is not feasible to travel to or from Istanbul by public train service. We also include private taxi transfers station to hotel and vice versa in Budapest and Prague.

Travel is in Standard Premier on Eurostar™   to or from Paris, an overnight sleeper and First Class daytime trains. Sleeping compartments are two-berth.  Singles plus a limited number with en suite shower/WC are also available.

London St Pancras International to Budapest and return

Depart London St Pancras International mid-afternoon by Eurostar™.  A light meal and drinks are served en route to Paris Gare Du Nord arriving early evening.  The German overnight sleeper to Munich departs Paris Est mid-evening.  Change trains in Munich to the Railjet service to Budapest Keleti arriving late afternoon. The return journey is the reverse of the outward journey departing Budapest at lunchtime and arriving London early afternoon the following day.

Prague to London St Pancras International

Depart Prague at lunchtime by Euro City train to Berlin.  Change to the German Rail overnight sleeper to Paris Est.  The connecting Eurostar™  from Paris Nord arrives early afternoon in London St Pancras International.  A light meal and drinks are served en route.
