Danube Express is an independent, privately owned luxury tour operator based in the UK.
Danube Express provides a truly unique holiday experience of a “Hotel on Wheels” touring through Central Europe. The concept has been brought to fruition by specialists in their field, Howard Trinder and Peter Hedderly, who between them have over 45 years experience in the industry.
Howard, throughout his youth travelled extensively by rail in Europe and was also employed in the railway industry before starting a tour operating business taking clients on some of the greatest railway journeys in the world before dreaming up the idea of the Danube Express.
Peter has, like Howard, had a life-long interest in railways. One of his achievements has been to introduce a private luxury train on the Trans-Siberian route to Vladivostok. Peter is a specialist in Central Europe and the knowledge and experience he has gained throughout his career will undoubtedly assist in ensuring that all arrangements run smoothly.
